Hey guys. never posted here before So None of you know me but anyway. I will help with the beta test. I haven't read all the replies to this post but will be more than happy to help. Just let me know.

I love freelancer & especially mods. May I just ask a question of you guys.?

Most of the big mods that ad lots of stuff to freelancer all have the same thing in common & I dont understand why. All mods talk about balancing the ships so they do what we think they would be like. So why do freighters & cap ships have such low cargo holds?

It doesnt make since that a ship that is anywhere from 20 to 0ver 100 times the size of the largest very heavy fighter only has 100 to 200 more cagro.I have also noticed in freelancer " unmodded " , Scan a cargo train & see how much they carry.Its usuall between 20000 to 80000,then someone mods the game so you can fly that ship & it has a cargo of 200. It's just silly.

Entil`ZaH`Ha`Dum,

The only server that runs this mod currently is bobways where it is under test.. this is a beta version so we can find and correct any faults with the systems prior to release...... there is an address in the link at the top of this page where it can be obtained.

Dunno why the link/url would not work for you I tried http://antau.no-ip.com and it worked fine for me.....

The mod will play as single player but will not work with the storyline - i.e. is open sp only....

Thanks for your interest.. the mod is available at the link that says "CLICK HERE" in the header at the top of this page... we would welcome your comments, feed back we have to date is that the mod is stable.. however that will possibly change when you start to find the new systems...

As for your question about cargo capacity..if you go to Planet Kurile you will find the Ceres - it has a cargo capacity of 600... but a price to match....most of the ships are expensive by standard freelancer standards but all have been put through the latest version of the ships cost calculator so the prices are accurate...

When the testing is complete and we have added some extra ships, new weapons models and hopefully the new factions.... you can buy the Hermes which has (at the moment) a cargo capacity of 5000.... will that be enough? You need have no level requirements to buy any of the ships... just a deep pocket

Balance - well... we also hope to be able to provide both AI and NPC with the new ships so that should even things up a bit......

I have almost completed a new capship - the Nemesis.. which should satisfy those that want a ship with all the goodies.. with a bit of luck I will finish it shortly.. and post some piccy's

Oh okie is it [[ BOBWAYS's MOD© sever that ran the Victor's mod? i have been there b4... nice server... could u please post the IP addy of the server that runs it? i tried the BOBWAYS's MOD© and no luck. thanks

i must have a bad hop between that addy and me i am gonna neo-trace it to see what's up... as far as the website goes.
oh well, i traced ok server is in Colorado "system" but still gives a 404 to me :\

Just so happens im the Modder Operator at bobways lol....
the server bobways is running is having problems... and i do NOT recommend running the systems on MP online, but i havnt tested on LAN. The Bobways server has been used as a Testing Area for the Bobways and Nova Design team.
Hence why it isnt there or is passworded

Parabolix here,

Harrier is working very hard on the Nemesis. It is dark gray and black for the most part and comes with many large powerful guns. Pictures soon to come, you are gonna go mad over it.

Meanwhile, I'm just getting back from a family emergency, I'm now continuing work on the Howler, a light fighter for the Liberty Police. Very nimble and quick, you won't want to be shipping cardamine through Liberty anymore. Though I haven't discussed it with Harrier, I am thinking about a dark blue/gray-silver texture. Sound good? We'll see.....

Also gonna be trying to do some work on the Cyclone heavy fighter for Lane Hackers. Very sci-fi look, but it is about 2000 poly's so it will take a lot of work. But when everything is done, it's gonna be one mean ship, but maybe for Version 3.

Still doing work on weapons. Harrier has been doing some great work on some of the others. Any ideas for ships and weapons are welcomed, you can post them here or email us at the emails provided by the "mail" link by our names or at [email protected]

I would love to beta test I have Beta Tested for a couple servers and I love doing it i'm good at changing clothing files and ship files and also commodity's and factions I have LAN and I also have made 4 client servers with 3 mods I would love to test for u Harrier thanks,JEFF

Ok guys. STarted my own little one player sever to see how it does. Made it as far as Omega 41. I have found a problem though. As I siad I made it to omega 41 & died due to a nifty little nuetron star. I respawned & it took me to the last station where I had docked & that was in Hamberg .

It doesn't seem to be saving at each jump like it should. It should save at jumpgates & jumpholes.

Oh & by the way, have you changed the standard system random encounters?
I came back from Galileo to new york & was blasted out of space by xenos starfliers as soon as I jumped into New York from Colorado, about 6 of them. They killed me extremly fast. I didnt even have time to click the Shield batteries. I dont remember the Xenos starliers all being loaded with scorpions. ot I have been playing mods way to long LOL.

I gave up after the death.Will start again tomorrow evening. hope this helps a little. Cyas next time.

Both of your questions would be best answered by Dark Dragon... tho I know he was playing around witrh encounters..... I'll see if i can get him to answer your questions.

Thanx for the feedback...there has not been a lot so far...the mod seems stable enough....

Btw.. I have finished the Nemesis.. she's at the shipyard being fitted out.... lol...

Well I'd like to have some feedback for you guys but the mod seems to be causing desktop crashes somehow... Oh, wait, this is feedback.
Happened first coming back through the jumphole from Zone 21 near Rochester- i appeared, the game crashed. Upon restarting the game continues to crash to desktop after about 5 mins or so.
Corrupt download perhaps? I'm redownloading as we speak, so I'll let u know how things fare...

yes i thought that too, but ive been playing on the raw server and i died in omicron theta and it brought me all the way back to Cadiz Base...i think the save only has effect when you log off and sign back on

heyas Everyone,

Made it to planet Kurile Only thing I found there was a Hawk ,no Ceres.

We gonna set an epsilon test server up? Think this would be faster if we could team up to get to these new systems.I would do it for you guys, but I dont have enough computer or a fast enough connection to keep a good ping up.

All NPC encounters I have had so far are way harder than I ever remember in freelancer, good thing I bought a heavy thruster its the only way I have been able to beat almost all encounters. If you stay in a flightpath to long when trying to finish off an NPC the other 4 or 5 of them lock in & blast you to bits. I have to spend a lot of time hitting the afterburner to keep from being blown away. I eventually do win. but it takes a while.

Oh yeah I have found no new systems as of yet a hint Maybe?
