well i'm a dummy..... lol

seems I left out the Gryffin .... silly me.. I am sorry...

I will include it in version 2 for sure.... all the files are there but the 'package' is not in market_ships.ini.... however this is fairly easy to fix...

Go to freelancer mods manager and and disable the mod.. then go to tools "open mods folder" find a mod folder called EpsilonV104.. open it and find data\equipment\market_ships.ini, open this (its stripped and annotated) then scroll down until you find Planet Manhattan,, a couple of entries under this you should see:
[BaseGood;NEW YORK SYSTEM - BATTLESHIP MISSOURI - 1 - 2
base = Li01_03_base
under this is an entry for the defender -
under this add a line then add this line:

marketgood = f_gryffin_package, 0, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1;EPSILON

Then save the file. Activate the mod and go to Missouri and the Gryffin is there (or should be) ... however if you have a problem simply email me and I will send you a modified file with instructions similar to the above.

Dunno how the mistake came about.. I can only apologise... the file is the wrong version, I changed it when I was testing other ships that were not included in the mod and obviously overlooked the gryffin.. will rectify this in the next ship pack. something to look forward to.

I have been making new custom weapons cmps and will post some piccy's shortly and some of the effects that will come with them..

a weapons mod eh... should be no real problem ... however we will not tell you where to find them... maybe a hint or two.. lol

I'm also making new sound effects for the game. I've made about 5 or 6 so far. Many more will come. Anyone know how to make new vis effects?

I am having probs with the mod...it say something about a test run and error when i try to activate the mod...i am using flmm beta 7 the fixed version.

I also had problems with beta 7 tho not the ones you describe.......

A couple of suggestions that may help....

1. disable all mods - the mod will not work with many other mods as it is unscripted
2. restore backups, and either move all saved games to another folder or use the option under options "automatically move saved games to different folders"
3. delete the mod from the mods folder using the "delete mod" (top right hand corner) available in the flmm main window.
4. install the mod again using the flmm folder (EpsilonV1O4.zip.flmm)
5. start a new game.

If the above fails then I can only suggest you download it again.... or use flmm beta 5

There may be another reason that I am unaware of ... maybe someone else can provide more information.....

well have to ask were can i find this new mod was trieng to find it on fllm but no were a sight of the final epsilon mod 1.46
If i find do i need a password can any 1 help me out becouse i'm wainting to play this mod for weeks

Hello again

An update.... since we have been asked by several people we plan to do a weapons mod.... not just weapons effects... but new cmps as well... I have done 2 new turrets designed for heavy freighters and capships plus one new small ship gun - the "Green Terror" level 5 Tachyon gun..... plus I have several more in progress including a capship rocket launcher, a small ship rocket launcher, another turret and small ship guns ... including an alien gun type.

Parabolix is working on new sound and visual effects to go with them

Also, Dark Dragon has joined the team and will be providing new systems, there could be as many as 30 new systems when he is finished... they are being tested now so you can expect to see contributions from him from time to time...

We hope to have stage 2 out just before Christmas (all going well)....

Will keep you posted.. more ships and weapons on the way.

Yep got your email, I will discuss it with the other mod team members and will get back to you... why settle for one weapon when you can have several... very good idea, thanx. see above piccy's (another very high refire rate weapon) LOL!

There are 24 systems as of yet... a few are almost empty but i assure you they have a reason. Some are for MP as well you see

The mod sounds good,but will it let you play in SP,none of the SP mods seem to work with it.

thanks cueball. we are working hard on the next addition for the mod and hope to have it out in the next 3 weeks so it'll be here for the holidays
