back for a min.

forgot to say waiting to see those pics Harrier. I wanna see your uber ship.

And another I also play on Raw 1.7 Got myself destroyed after I had traveled from omicon theta to new york. got destroyed at new york cause I took the jumpgate & went to take a bio break, when I came back my ship had flown into Planet New York. when I hit respawn I was back at the New York- Colorado jumpgate not Omicron theta. Dont know for sure but it does seem that jumpgates for certain are autosaves or at least in TNG 1.7..

NPC's Now have regenerating shields...... at a high rate but not too high!
But i havnt changed the load outs in ANY WAY..

Default Freelancer 1.0 only saves when you leave a base. In 1.1 it was changed to when you dock at a base.

actually, sometimes autosave is saved when you arrive to another system through a jumphole... Have been doing this when i experiment with my ships with lots of ambushes. hehehe

.... I never really took much notice .. I wonder if I got the first or last version....... tho it usually saves at jumpgates.... hmmm...

Thought I might post some pictures of the Nemesis.....
Level 10 supership but not a fling around fighter..... more leisurely..pick your targets off at random..or leave...or destroy it......there is not going to be much in sirius that will worry you.. or anywhere else.... this thing clears it's own path....

Specs:

2 level 10 "Retribution" Beam Cannon - firepower: classified
7 level 9/10 turrets with custom weapons fitted
7 minelayers.. custom mines available
torpedo launchers...... plus some additional custom weapons available

It is up to the server's to decide whether the Ships (inc Nemisis) Will be admin only. Or for players and admins alike.

well guys last post for me. Its comments like that tha have always kept me off these boards in the first place. Thought this one would be different but it looks like its not.

Always someone who thinks the best ships should be set aside for only a few.So they get to fly around & have top advantage over others. If thats the case, you need to have a bomber that can rip the Nemisis to pieces its only fair. Or not put the ship into the mod at all if you are gonna set special rules for who is PERMITTED to use it.

Or only the Admins should be able to fly it. PFFFTTT.

Whats the point of having a game or mod where only a few select people can have the best?

Sorry for the bad post folks but I quit posting when comments like that start flying around.

Was nice trying out the mod , wish ya the best of luck with your updates.

Really is a nice ship Harrier, Congratz & keep them coming.

Darky...why is it up to the server...i think it should be up to the team...i.e...harrier, me, and you...the server admins didnt have any part in developing the mod so i think the decision should be left to those who created it...personally im with darkstorm on this one...anyway the nem is gonna cost so much cash that not many will be able to pilot it...and if the servers get to decide on the stuff in this mod...i dont think i want to have a part in it anymore...whats the point of spending months making stuff if its just gonna get changed

I will also email you about this... but one thing is for sure.. the Nemesis will be available for the player.. full stop.... not negotiable.. and for this mod will be unchanged from her current design... there has been too many hours spent on that model for me to allow only a select few to fly it.... that is a pointless exersize from a ship builders point of view..

The Nemesis WILL be available but will be (hidden) and expensive

It may well be that there are two mods bought out - one for the sp.... and a modified version for mp ..... modified only in the sense that the ships will be slower to prevent server lag...

I fully intend to look very seriously into starting an Epsilon Mod Games Server.

But all that takes time.. and I want to get the mod out (version 2.4 at least) before Christmas so we can all relax for a bit...

Oh and one more thing....

I have already started on a Fighter/Bomber ship type that will rip the Nemesis apart.. though it could go either way... LOL

The Howler is coming along nicely...It's one of our larger models, being 842 vertices and 1042 polygons...but those will go down soon (just to come right back up again...lol)...pictures soon to follow
