Keep on doing missions, until I can leave? I don mind when the hostiles are neutral on the way out. Guess, I have to try! For King/Queen and Country!

Mojo: the missiles have an area or splash damage so the probability that the enemy guns will be destroyed during a fight is indeed much higher if you use only missiles. better try to kill them the "clean" way, with your guns...
Toco: i'll think of a way to include these Barrager ammo crates to random loot drops, from all pirate factions. Use these guns sparingly and usually only after enemy shields are down to maximize their effects. also don't mount more then 2 Barrager guns and/or 2 Barrager turrets since these consume ammo from the same source(say if u have 2 Barrager guns and 2 turrets u can have up to 600x2 ammo, and that should be enough, its 300 ammo/gun)
G-shark: u can also leave the EFA right after completion of a mission, since the enemy factions will be neutral to you for a while.... but if u are at a higher level and with a better ship(like the B5 Thunderbolt) u have more chances to survive an encounter with a enemy fleet of Battleships, cruisers and VHF's...anyway u have the best chances in a Tempest DD or Javelin CA certainly.

Finally gotten 312full. And must say wow great mod. did some exploring in EAS and found the planet harris at far left of map. Are those secret areas? Did not find any docking rings.

Have not had any CTD's yet.

Found a CTD bug in your mod. During OpenSP killed the BB Suffolk base in New London and game CTD on me.

Toco: fileshack is requiring a url to upload from and i don't have one...i'll stick to fileplanet since there u can upload directly from the HDD.
Starnova: no those planets are not some secrets of the EAF, and r not suppsed to be there or have any bases.
that CTD will appear in any mod that makes bases destructable if u destroy such a base. i made bases destructable for realism purposes but it seems destroying most of them causes CTD's so don't do that anymore...

Ahh okay.. hmm on your next update you might want to re-position Mars to where it does not show up as red on the map though.

as for the MP different character faces, I also wanted them to start at different loactions and have differen ships+armaments: Dagger for the pirate, Piranha for the bounty hunter and Patriot for the navy character. The pirate would start at Buffalo, the Navy officer at BS Missouri and the Bounty Hunter at Westpoint. Unfortunately it seems like the server is not allowing to a player create or join new characters different from the first one, saying that a duplicate character already exist on that server. too bad. perhaps a solution can befound for that, or perhaps character generation is only server side and clients are not permitted to change that.

No wonder why some comrades of mine could not join the server. So that means we have to stick as the default character?

no, that would have been if i did those changes, but since only the face of the character is modified this will not cause any trouble...

I see a mention of not being able to create new characters. This is exactly my problem once i installed 3.12. I was running fine on Toms server w/3.11 now I cannot create any new char on any servers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything including mod manager. Of course I also made the mistake of deleting all existing characters as well.(doh!!) Now i find myself lonely, I need help desparately as this mod blows away all others I've played. btw i burned out TNG and came here. LOVE IT, but can only watch from the sidelines. Please help

The jumpholes to EFA are in all great houses main systems, including new london. The jumpholes to Narn and minbari empires are in dublin, look for them north of the 2 northern gold fields. centauri empire jhole is in Edinburgh, S-E.

Reddawg, i'm glad that u like my mod the most. About that MP problem, it is not certainly cause of these new character faces, since only a characters.ini file is modified and after re-testing yesterday i discovered that is NOT working in MP, only in SP and OpenSP modes. U must ensure that u're using the same version and have the exact file that the server has.
For this u have to re-instal the mod and check with the server admin for its curent version. its have to be the fiileplanet 3.12 one. Be careful though, sometimes at instalation of the mod with FLMM, all files in FL folder become read-only, so then no BAT files will work anymore. so please remove the atribute from whole folder...from properties, uncheck the readonly checkbox. Then either reinstall the mod with flmm or copy all file from the mod ZIP's archive to FL folder directly(to make sure u overwrite the old ones).
Also leave it with default settings, don't run level3.bat or any other bat files. and make sure u don't have the 1.1 patch instaled...

Thanks for the response!!! I normaly dont mess w/anyones work, never change or modify any existing files on mods. Although last night after deactivating the mod I was able to create new char on regular servers. Woo Hoo, after banging head repeatedly I decided to download 3.01. Working fine now on Zulu server, I only came to this conclusion because I cannot seem to find many servers running 3.12 which I personally cannot understand. Seems like weve got it figured out, now I just hope to find a good server running updated version. OH ya, btw I've played many mods and so far rebalance is the shiznit. Thanks to all for the hard work invested in this project.
