Hmmm, Hi guys, im fairly new to the whole thing too... Sounds to me like ill be raiding a certain Flint on the way outta NY... hehe, 30 thou would come in REAL handy to start with... Whats the deal with the heavy fighter (Crusader)?? is it pretty good to hang on to for a while?? or is it better to find something better quickly?? I know its slow, but... I kinda like the fire-power...hehehe

you'll come across more maneuverable and more powerful ships as you progress in the story line. I played the rest using the Bretonian HF (until near the end), and in a Barracuda, and in a Dragon- of the three, I prefer the Dragon, but that's me.

Ya,as soon as I get out of liberty space,I make my way to kasari space and get a dragon, then as soon as I get to The Order,I get that fighter to finish the storyline. It doesn't cost much and has good shield and firepower.

I'm in the Alaska system but its so point less...i cant do any damage.

WHAT ARE THOSE purple blasters the enemy ships use against me during the: " rescue President Jacobi" mission. plus im flying the anubus....but i failed the mission so then i loaded a prev. game and did the mission with my baracuda. It seems that the Anubus is weaker than my old Baracuda!! Anyaway i spent my time playing as bait until Juni and the others cleared some ships and then we fled Alaska and boreded the ORDER battleship. i think i managed to destroy ONE ship in the entire alsaka sector.....ONE. They're weapons take my sheilds out pretty quick and then my hull integrity does down in seconds. i swear i went through 26 sheild reactors in less than 2 mins. (not to mention nanobots)

okey so i got through the purple blasters. Turns out i should'uv have focused on the mission objectives rather than trying to kill all the fighters. And now i'm done the main story line...i think. i'm level 17 right now and im not quite sure what to do. Oh and why are those mines back up around alaska?...is there any way into that system now? b/c i flew all around it and i cant seem to find a way through.

Also i dotn understand why my rep with the outcasts and rogues is on a shoot on sight basis again. Shouldnt they be neutral or sumthing? Wasn't i just on thur base?

Hey man! No, for the rest of the game (except in some mods) Alaska is closed. There are many forums open on how to get through the mines, so i wont go into that here. Also, the game will repeatedly reset your standing with factions during the storyline, so even if everyone hated you, you could complete the missions because the rep was reset.

I recommend, in the future, any post refering to exploring or the storyline to be posted in the spoilers section. you seem to get more help there anyway.
