Mannfred:
Yeah, that looks like a corrupt file.
You may need to redownload the mod.
The "E" drive is a RamDrive that FL sets up.
DrKrEaper:
Alright, I'll put the mission payments back as they were.
But I'll leave the salvage from battles as it is.
BUG REPORT#1:
Found the "Movies" bug:
In the Market_Commodities.ini file in the Equipment folder:
change:
MarketGood = commodity_ship_hull_panels, 0, -1, 0, 0, 1, 400000
to:
MarketGood = commodity_ship_hull_panels, 0, -1, 0, 0, 1, 1.400000
BUG REPORT#2:
I received an FLspew.txt file from one of the players.
Here's a copy of my response:
The first part is just setup.
This line is caused by the Tarsus, or the Galaxy's bad texture:
C:\work\builds\dalibs\dalibs-build\build\Src\RendComp\VMesh\VMPartArch.cpp(697) : NOTICE:General: VMESH: couldnt find material 0
(Everytime a Tarsus or Galaxy flys by, you'll get that line.)
This line means you shot a ship, and a part flew off:
E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Common\CAttachedEquip.cpp(209) : *** WARNING: Disconnecting equipment with FATE_UNKNOWN, using FATE_DISAPPEAR
Here's where you left the New York System:
E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Server\space\StarSys.cpp(774) : *** WARNING: StarSystem::exit(): CLI(1) System(Li01)
Here's where you entered the Texas System:
E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Server\space\StarSys.cpp(540) : *** WARNING: StarSystem::enter(): CLI(1) System(Li04)
Here's a Galaxy, or a Tarsus:
C:\work\builds\dalibs\dalibs-build\build\Src\RendComp\VMesh\VMPartArch.cpp(697) : NOTICE:General: VMESH: couldnt find material 0
Here's where the computer said, "Docking":
E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Client\space\StarSys.cpp(716) : *** WARNING: Voice message 2351700488 is invalid for voice 3073825485
Here's what caused the crash:
C:\work\builds\dalibs\dalibs-build\build\Src\RenderPipeline\DX8\rp_dx8.cpp(2292) : WARNING:General:create_device: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL
E:\FL\Scratch\Source\Client\cmn\RenderMgr.cpp(576) : *** WARNING: RenderMgr - failed to create_buffers(1024,768) -1,-1
That's a DirectX error.
About the only thing that'll cause that is a corrupt file.
And you're going to hate this, but, you need to delete the copy of the mod in the FLMM directory...
UNINSTALL, not REINSTALL, Freelancer...
Install Freelancer again after rebooting...
You could try using the copy of the Privateer mod that you have, but I'd say that you've got a corrupt copy.
If you do try using it again, you'll have to Uninstall FL, reboot, Install FL, and then download a new copy.
Oh, and simply deleteing the mod won't help...
Your installation of FL is now, also corrupt, and will crash with/without other mods.
And since the the copy you have is corrupt, it'll corrupt every installation of FL that you make.
