@du7 if you get together a list of all the ships with floaty hardpoints i can easily fix that

ok...I see that there's a fix for hte Alaska system bug, but I can't get it to work. I delete the file that it says to delete, and the mission stops working completely...maybe I just don't understand the directions.

So how do I fix it?

imprezzed, you delete the file in the Freelancer mod manager directory for Reckoning 2.4, not the one in freelancer main directory.

Just out of curiosity, what is this "gemini not working" problem you guys mentioned.

I have not encountered it yet.

@du7 right now we are trying to get everything working at peak efficiency, once we get all the ships in and all the bugs worked out then we can sit down and tweak weapon balance stats, shield stats etc. but its pretty low on the priority list atm

Bob, the perry naval base looks great! However, I hate to spoil the party, but there are one or two nits I have to pick:

The texture I sent you with the "vents" wasn't used! I see that you chose to use the texture without the vents, then stretched it over the surface of the ENTIRE sphere. Can you try applying the Perry 05 with the vents on the upper half of the sphere, and then the plain background texture on the bottom half? Should I make a 512x1024 size texture for you instead, with the vents on the top and the background on the other?

Maybe I am obsessed over my vents, but i like my vents. I am curious to see if the vents work. If not, I can re-do the 05 PERRY text so that it wont look so squished, if that happens when you use the vent texture.

Other than that.. good job on the model!

Actually....it's still not working. The Sun is still targeted, and Walker's ships still stop at the edge of the minefield. I've deactivated and reactived the mod a couple of times to try to reset it.

What else should I try?

do a fresh install of fl and make sure the m11.ini is deleted in the flmm/mods/reckoning 2.4 directory then reactivate the mod

The Gemini Sector isn't in this mod.
The only copy is on my hard drive.
It doesn't work.
It just keeps crashing.
I think the main reason is due to bugs in the main mod.
So, until I get a completely bug-free basis to start from...
The Gemini Sector is nothing but a dream.

And the next version should be released soon.
I've just got to finish my debugging run-through of the missions.
Should be another day, or so.

I Reckon it's because, as an April Fool's joke, LR posted a report that Privateer 3: The Reckoning was about to be released.
Bob McDob, Tolwyn, and a few others picked up on it, and the name's stuck.

Personal Note:
Due to some real-world problems, I will be away from my computer Wednesday, and probably Thursday this week.

Bob, that is fantastic!

Aha, not bad, not bad at all for two people working several time-zones apart. If you can supply more of other bases.. new constantinople, mining facilities, and whatever, that would be great too

I think it looks good, although I would like to tweak my texture map a little more to fit the model better. I can do this Monday.

Edit Otherwise, if you think its fine, and want me to leave it alone I will. I am a perfectionist sometimes

Can these things really be imported as Solars into FreeLancer ??
