Simple question: How and where are the Starlancer sounds saved?

in the big .hog-file, and in a custom file-format, if i remember correctly.

Hmm, in the large one (cd2.hog), there are .tga, .bik, mp3, and, more interesting, .box, .SPR and two .FATs. Which of them is it and how do I open it?

If you're looking for the music then it's the files marked .mp3

Well, all I can find in the .mp3s are the sounds of footsteps, most probably the sounds of the character on his way to the mission briefing.
