Game freezes when loading navmap

Now this is a veeery strange one.

I changed something in the New Berlin system and now wanted to do a thorough test of the entire system, starting on New Berlin. So I spawned there and wanted to view the navmap. And now comes the strange part: The window folds down from the icon and the background appears, but after that, Freelancer completely freezes. The movement of the navmap icon on the top right stops and everything else, too. At one time, I even had to restart my PC because Freelancer would repsond to nothing and I could not kill it with Ctrl + Alt + Del, Alt + F4, Alt + Tab or anything else.

Therefore it looks like Freelancer is using a lot of capacity. I tested it in multiplayer and when I looked at FLServer in thr task manager, it used 604.000 KB of memory. That's a bit much, right?

How may I solve this? I already did complete Scans with FLScan and the INI Analyzer, and they couldn't find anything obvious.

Remove your additions, or try on vanilla FL and see if it occurs again first.

I just thought about this for a second. Without trying, I can now definetly tell the reason.

I had altered an auto save to put me onto New Berlin whilst one of my custom missions I was just testing was running. This mission had a waypoint set -- one in a new system not yet included into the path calculation files. So it was just Freelancer not getting the quickest path -- with a slight twist. This would have happened to me in any other system, too.

Thanks for the help, anyway.
