I cant get my mod working! FL crashes when i launch Freelancer!

Heres my mod (thats a mod with a ship)

I knew freelancer was touchy ... but i didn't know about the double spaces or double returns .... Thanks for the heads up. As for finding them.... I use an editor called Professional File Editor "PFE" it can find both ... and Either eliminate them or make them just one.

I've got one you guys might want to check out.

From the Tie Universe 9.1

Error: FLMM has determined that 'TIE Universe v9.1' won't properly activate.
Error: Unable to find section '[SystemInfo'(...) in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\universe\systems\br04\br04.ini'

nothing wrong with the file. but it still won't load.

What version of the SDK are you using, if it's 1.3 then Silvik will need to here about this as it could be a bug in his script. However if your using SDK 1.5, then this is you problem as TIE Universe needs 1.3 installed for it to run properly.

oh, and there's another annoying one back in version 2.1 that decided to pop up.
I ended up just deleting good old 2.1, but here's that error:

Error: FLMM has determined that 'TIE Universe v2.1' won't properly activate.
Error: Unable to find dest 'archetype = li_dreadnought'(...) in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\ships\loadouts_special.ini'

The following line shows up in my FLSpew once for every ship of a kind spawned and then more often in combat. A multiple-minute fight got me 677 occurences of this error.

It's no CRC of any kind and seven-digit IDs can't be possible. What else can it be? Because of the "MiscUtil.cpp", I think it has something to do with equipment, but I'm essentially lost here.

It doesn't seem to be known here at TLR, but I'll ask anyway.

hi
i have the epsilon 3.11 mod and when i activate it and play freelancer it says"Unknown publisher". it gave me 2 options run or don't run, of course i went run. it started to load but it went back to the desktop screen. do you know how to fix?
any ideas highly appricated

please reply ASAP

hey,

i just downloaded the CrossFire v1.6 mod but i cant activate it because it gives an error. it says access to a certain file was denied or it couldnt copy a certain file and stuff like that. can anyone help me?

If your using FLMM 1.31 then check with the mods creator.

If it's FLMM 1.4 (1 of 4 beta's), then you have a problem, Crossfire is incompatable with 1.4 and I'd suggest getting 1.31 instead.

Sorry.. I missed this post.. That is an odd one.. never seen it before..

It may be that you've run SDK .. except its built into the mod.. My suggestion , would be to unistall and reinstall Freelancer..

Load the mod. if it still doesnt load.. then the error may be with flmm..

Error: file 'D:\Games\Freelancer\EXE\freelancer.ini' doesn't exist

Error: FLMM has determined that 'Crossfire Mod 1.62 Client Edition' won't properly activate.
Error: file 'D:\Games\Freelancer\EXE\freelancer.ini' doesn't exist

These are the messages in the log when I try to activate one of the crossfire mods 1.6 or 1.62. I tryed with FLMM 1.31 and then with 1.4 beta 4.I've reinstalled the game, the mods and the mod managers and it still doesn't work. Please, help me

i'm sry i didnt know where to post this but every time i download a mod, i keep geting this error message that internet explorer cant download file from www.lancersreactor.com, connection with the server was reset. HELP! whats going on?

Hi. When I try to activate the Crossfire 1.6 it appears a message in the log:

Error: problem activating 'Crossfire Mod 1.6 Client Edition'
Error: SHCopyFile failed ('D:\Games\Freelancer\DATA\characters\heads\pi_pirate5_head.dfm.flmmbak' to 'D:\Games\Freelancer\DATA\characters\heads\_pi_pirate5_head.dfm')

Please help! What should I do?

Hi,

When I want activate mod I have an error message :
