Dying power supply or a faulty reset button, I'd say.

it is quite probably your hardware, as HK says, a dodgy power supply, or a loose connection, or faulty power distribution on your motherboard. OR It could also be a completely screwed up Windows installation, a chronically fragmented hardrive, or a virus-riddled system that keeps rebooting itself.

Are you quite sure it's the power light? it might well be the hdd activity LED. if so, then it's one of the software problems above. I would suggest that you boot to safe mode (F8 on startup, choose safe mode from the menu) uninstall any rubbish you dont need from add/remove programs, restart, make sure your anti-virus is up to date (for pity's sake, don't tell me you haven't got any!) defrag your hard drive, run a full virus scan, and then use a registry cleaner like Norton Windoctor or Registry Mechanic and fix your registry. I'd also suggest some anti-spyware software and scan your computer for spyware and trojans.

Power supply, likely. Its stopped now tho.
