The best missile is the Cannonball, and if you can't afford it, the Lancer missile is pretty good. The only disadvantage is that they have very little accuracy. So the best missile with good locking capabilities is the Firestalker. And I think they sell it in Borderworlds bases, your best hope being in Freeport bases, since they are neutral.

Otherwise you can find Paralyzer missiles in ship wrecks, and they are (the best)EMP missiles. Unfortunately, the laucher cannot be found anywhere (or at least I haven't found any place where they sold them, friendly or not). They are nice though because they get you a lot of money.

As for weapons, you can find top secret class 10 weapons in ship wrecks. Or you can buy pretty good class 8 weapons in Rheinland space (Firekiss/Flamecurse is a good one). And if you ever change your mind to become an Outcast/Corsair (or whatever enemy faction) you can buy the Salamanca Class 9 (Corsairs) or the Wyrm Type 2 (Outcast).

And don't forget to get a couple of Del Cids from the Corsairs, or at least Adv. Debilitators if they hate you.

Paralyzers are an ini. bug, you cannot acquire them due to this, since according to the ini.'s they don't exist.

Well they do exist, they're just not for sale anywhere.
