Why cant I level up?

I just beat Mission 3 (the Hillard Research Base) and was told by Juni to just mess arouind until she contacted me with another job. I have been "messing" around for hours now and she stil has not called me! I have gone on dozens of missions and at one point had double the net worth of the requirement that was stated below it. I dont know why I am not leveling up to level 7 (I am currently at 6). I read in a walkthrough that you could not get to the next mission without leveling up, but I cant level up!! I'd appreciate any and all the help you could give me! Thanks!

This has happened to me once before. Your save is probably corrupted, so load an earlier game. Thats all the advice I can give.

Thanks a bunch...I loaded an earlier save and now it works...weird bug though, youd think that they would have taken care of it in the patch. I read other threads about the same problem, and look forward to dealing with it again after I beat the game LOL Thanks!

The official patch is really for servers.Download the SDK and install this instead,it fixes a lot of problems that were missed in the origianal ini files.
