I Need Someone to Help Me

Hi. I am the leader of the Sigman-Kusari Bandits on the Topfreelancers server. We are one of the official clans, so we get to pick a ship for the next version of their mod to come out. I was wondering if perhaps someone of you expert skinners/modelers could make us a ship. To put it plainly, we are asking for the Wolfen Fighter. This is the spaceship used my StarWolf in StarFox 64. We would love it if someone would make this ship. I already asked the maker of the arwing to do it, but he said he couldn't. Someone please help us out. We are in dire need of it.

I'll do it. Send me a couple pics (It's been a while since I've played starfox). I could do a couple versions of it. Maybe a light fighter, heavy fighter, and a freighter. I'm sure the folks who run the server will be cool with that.

Also let me know if you want any kind of logo on the ships.

Uhm...I sent you an email and I was wondering if perhaps you got or if you need some more pics to get it started.

I still would love for this to get done. Please help me out by completing it. I am thinking of our clan logo and if we should put it on the ship...but I don't have a logo made quite yet. I will let you know when I do.

Are you still going to do the ship?

I think I could get a pretty good start with those photos. I did see somewhere around here where another person had requested the same thing. Argh said he would try to make it but I'll go ahead and get started on one for your clan anyway. Let me know how many weapons and what kind you want to be able to mount. I'll take care of all the hardpoint positioning.

Jsncaliff, would you be willing to skin a set of models built around this theme? I can kick out the models very quickly, but I'm still working on coding for Toolkit and don't have time to do the skins justice. Please let me know.

Ok. Well this is gonna be really cool if all of you are workin on it. Mancer also emailed me and said he would help out, but I'm havin a hell of a time trying to find all the angles of the ship he wants to make it look accurate. Please let me know how far you are, and if you could, email your progress reports to me at [email protected], that would really help me out, since I want to know what's goin on hehe.

Argh, do you want me to send you the pics I was sending Mancer so that you could make a more accurate model too?

I've already got some models started. I found a few more referance pics and ended up with three ships. If Argh comes up with something more along the lines of what you are looking for I would be more than happy to toss theese and skin his.

Umm...ok? Why are you modeling the arwing and not the wolfen? LOL But good models tho...

To all of your great ideas, and so forth, Mancer has actually just built me a model. He built it this week, and will release it when the coding is finished for it.

LOL. Well I don't know too much about Starfox except for the original game. The Very heavy fighter was going to end up being the one you sent me pics of. The screenshot here is the top half still under construction. I just figured I'd build a couple others to keep a series thing going on.

Good to hear that you are getting you're model. I've already started texturing them so I'll still finish these anyway and post a couple pics. If you ever need em just say the word.

Yes, I would love it if you could post your finished product on here as soon as you finish it. I like to see other people's work, and this is just too great.

Great. I took a break from these models to work on some of my older ones, but I'll get back to work on them so I can post them here.
