Convert ms3d to cmp without Milkshape

Is there any way to convert ms3d data into cmp's without Milkshape?
(Background: My MS3D has expired and i would like to habe the model form this thread [ http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/forum/t ... ng&M=False into cmp data!)

bloody hell,NO!quit asking(seriously, someone asks every week),admins please sticky a big message to the top of the forum. MS3D exporter available ONLY! >_< geeeze

edit: sorry if i was harsh,it's just that there isn't one and its frustrating to see repetitive posts, especially when the problem is just a lack of erm,git-er-done spirit. (20 bucks gets you milkshape for life, once you buy it all future updated versions are free of charge...a damn good deal for a modeling program that can create characters and models for nearly every moddable game *it seems*,as well as do a lot of format conversions)

I think it's a valid question. It's unreasonable to spend money on software simply to export your models because frankly I won't use it anything else....especially NOT for modelling, I think it's horrible (I know a lot of people use it and much respect to you ).

Burzelmann contact at [email protected] and I'll help you with alternatives.

yeah but the only reason he's interested is that he let his trial expire! lol

I have a similar problem, it seems. Yes, my trial ran out. No, theres no way im gonna buy it. Yes, i need it for an export. Any ideas?(Void..... at least be sympathetic to n00bs)

Basically, the answer is no. No there is no other way to do it. If you want to be serious about modding, I suggest shelling out for Milkshape, at $20 the program is a bargin and a half. If you don't want to buy and don't want to use it, then the answer is simple, you don't want to create new models for Freelancer because you will need that program to do it.

The only other solution I could suggest is getting hold of someone with a valid copy of Milkshape who has shelled out for it and asking them to convert it for you. But I doubt many people will want to do that when they have their own projects they are working on.

Hmmm not a single person has contacted me by e-mail (as offered in my previous post) regarding this problem.

Curious indeed.

I found somebody else to convert it for me. A "friend" if you will.

if you're too cheap to shell out 20 bucks or too mentally lazy to figure out how to steal it you don't deserve to have it.did I pay for milkshape?well - no...but i live in a rift between time & space so my trial has never ran out

its a good idea to format your harddrive regularly....keeps windows running much smoother and cleans out unwanted program remnants *hint-hint THWHACK-THWHACK*

When I read this post I hear Jethro Tull's 'Thick as Brick' ...lol.

Sigh.....

hehe "too lazy o figure out how to steal it" you dont think i tried that for the reg key?

This can only be answered in one of three ways:
a) Thick as a brick
b) We're not going to openly discuss warez here
c) Did I mention thick as a brick?
