Help!, my ship doesnt work

Help!

I made my ship following the drizzt tutorial on how to make ships i followed everything except for the id's because i can do em later and it crashes when i load up, i suspect it has something to do with the shiparch file and the goods.ini file so i have them under here, i have matched all the files to the right directories.

The 3D modelling forum is perfect for this type of problem - as that is the forum that is dedicated to making models and getting them into Freelancer. It also contains about 20 threads upon why ships are invisible - so reading through those may yield the answer your looking for.

I will move the thread once I know you have seen it

Dang! it still doesnt work, ive checked through what could be wrong but i cant see anything maybe it was just the 3d model and textures.

best thing to do is to test it on a Freelancer ship

change the .mat and .cmp files so it fit a normall FL ship and see if it crash ,so there somthing wrong with this code if not so u have problems in ur ship

if it wont work u better chack ur Mat or Cmp files

Itried it like that, it still crashes it must be the ship cmp or the mat i'm working on a simpler ship this time so i can try and follow step by step no heavy stuff

Open the mat file with UTF editor. If the mat exporter missed one single texture file, you weill get a crash. YOu can manually add that texture later anyway to correct it.
