Erm, not sure. I uploaded the files last night to FTP and mailed the people it says to mail. So I guess whenever they get around to it... ¿mañana?

If you're really really desperate to get your mitts on it, go to the sticky topic under general modding about FTP uploads, log into their FTP server and download it directly from there (Assuming they havn't removed it yet for final upload), I doubt they'd mind, I don't

Parabolix : I considered doing that, but when you land or otherwise leave the ship the pilot would still be visible, which'd look a bit goofy. (What, trent pilot's the ship from a hidden compartment and your furry friend stays with the ship when you leave? :p )

Ok...I may not be too helpful...and know nothing about modeling...largely because my milkshape trial ran out...(dang...(sigh))...(and if anyone wants a base for an "'O'Neill' Class Asgard Mothership(from stargate sg-1), I have a model...I have one...just email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the milkshape file...and I might have the fl file too...It's not textured or anything yet though...)

Anyways back to the reason I wrote this...the model of fox...couldn't you edit the base model for all the pilots? true all of them would appear as fox...but who really wants the image of their pilot to change along with their ship anyways? yes...I'm sure we'll all be wearing costumes while flying in space (eye roll)...I'll stop now...cause this seems to be edging on...pointless writing......yeah....

No, I know how to create a custom pilot and likewise how to modify the default pilot, there ust isn't the technology available (to my knowledge) to export 3db objects (Reliably) from Milkshape, and then reimport into any UTF based file, or set them up to be used as standalone files.

I downloaded it straight from the FTP server and the ship rocks. I'm going throuth the single player game again with it. Hasn't let me down som far...

i have dled it and it is awesome, been playing it in story mode and its is awe some.i like how you even have the aror low and the shields high, just like in the game

I was wondee plans wondring if you have any planson making the rest, like the Great Fox, Cornerian FIghters, Starwolf's Fighter craft. etc. I would like to help out with that if you are, i can send you scans, stats and the like, the only thing i cant help out with the is the actual 3dmodeling since i am not good at it, but workin with the stats and the logistics stuff i can definately do. I would love to have the starfox team flying around in FL. and maybe who knows, if we can get a system maker in on this maybe we can even have the whole Lylat star system in sirrus

just a thought. which i hope becomes reality.

ps anything i can do to help , would love the chance. plus i know a bunch of SF fans who would flock to FL just for this mod, and anyothers that get made in the future.

So many people have suggested that I make the Great Fox (At least a dozen or so) I might well go ahead and do that, it´s not hard to make add on ships for Freelancer.

However... I havn´t the slightest idea what the Great Fox looks like, I've only ever actually played the original Starfox game (SNES) and very breifly Lylat wars some years back. I checked Google image search briefly and found only one possible screeny, which was front-profile, which doesn´t give a good overall idea.

If anyone has some screeny links I'd appreciate it. The Great Fox is the Starfox team´s carrier right?

I have been practicing with making systems, i've gotten it to work, but my main troubles are labeling stuff and creating in system jump gates and holes,i'm doing this for the fact that in StarFox64 there is what would be the freelancer analogues of a Jumphole that goes from Meteo to Katina, and in Sector X there is a freelancer equivalent of a JumpGate to Sector Z. Everything else though Ive gotten it down, I just need to match up certain things, like when you land on a planet you appear what looks like the inside of a base, but that is not difficult to do, you just change the base type. but I'm tring to figure out which is which, I'll probably try to tackle making the Lylat system this weekend, but untill I figure out how to make custom factions, and we get the custom ships for both sides, its going to be empty. as far as traffic and life is concerned, but I'll see if I can get the foundation for it built. Hell maybe after I do that someone around here, who's good at the labeling part will chime in and help me with that. then send me back the updated version so i can continue. HINT HINT.....

well anyway. I'll keep going the course. and See where it takes me.

ps. I'll see if I can get pics of both the cornerian fighters and CAPSHIPS and Andorssian Fighters and CAPSHIPS. they should be simple to make since they are rough ploygons on 64.

The labelling part is simple, just look up an IDS editor on Lancers Reactor, find a free IDS line, type in the message/label you want to show up, save the line, then put the IDS line number into wherever it's needed (Label on a system, label on a planet, comments on an asteroid field)

yeah, i'm figureing that out.

whats your tips on the in system jump problem, i'll make the two gates but then when i target/dock at one and it will go to the other, and iff i go through, i come out the same one.

Ok people need some assitance

I am trying to create an IN system Jumpgate, i use FLE to create it but it doesn't work
To avoid confusion I'll say jumpgate 1 and Jumpgate 2

Problem 1. You target Jumpgate 1, use Go To and Dock commands on it , it seems to work fine, however when you try to target, goto or dock at Jumpgate 2 it targets, goto, docks at Jumpgate 1.

Problem 2. when you jump, from Jumpgate 1, you come back through Jumpgate 1, in other words U-Turn. You can't even try to Jump through Jumpgate 2.


I know that you can create an IN system Jumpgate I've seen it done in

"solsystembeta" Mod.
