New version of DOSbox can play Privateer better on XP

The problem with "MyJEMM" is that it doesn't run in XP. They may have fixed that by now however.

Ah - serves me right for not reading the news release closely enough.
Still, for anyone still running 98... (I wonder if it would work in 95/98 compatibility mode?)

I did not bother to try MyJEMM with XP's compatibility mode, mainly because it is pretty temperamental, and it does not work that often (at least for me). It might be worth a shot though. Still, if XP's compatibility mode DID work with MyJEMM, I assume that the site would have mentioned it.
