Many thanks for the compliments.. the stability of the mod is mainly down to Buck Danny's skill as a coder, Parabolix for his stable weapons and effects.. and to the server operators and players who provide us with accurate (mostly..lol) bug reports and player feedback..

I spoke to Parabolix about the patch.. and if you still have it, we would like to take a look, could you email it to me, and I'll pass it on to Buck... if anyone can find the bugs in it he can.. lol

Your ships.. sure we'd be glad to look at them and if we like them and they 'fit' Epsilon then I dont see why not.. anyhow .. hardpoints and what not are really no problem tho our tendency is to try to stay pretty much faithful to the design.. but we dont want to have to retexture stuff as I have a backlog of stuff a mile long.. I can talk to you via email or msn about them if need be..

Ahh the Praetorian.. I'll have to post some screenshots on progress to date .. tho I have become so particular about the texture that it has turned into a long project and its delaying the eventual release of the mod.. Plus I have gotten involved in learning Max.. and that is also a capship of exceeding large proportions....

I played Epsilon mod for 3 hours. I admit I am a poor player cant even defeat Hovis very easily. How do you make the creds in epsilon mod in order to buy the new ships and weapons? I made 35k in 3 hours which will not buy anything of the new stuff and barely any of the old stuff.

Harmony, we realize starting off in Epsilon is difficult...But here are some tips...

1.) Buy a Patriot. - It costs about $200 to upgrade if you keep the equipment you had and dont buy the equipment that comes with the Patriot. The Patriot is also faster and has better weapons.

2.) Loot wrecks. - While it may be dangerous, there is a good amount of wrecks right around where you start.

3.) Change those weapons. - Don't keep those Justices. You can find some good guns close to Manhattan at Rochester Base or Trenton. Don't buy guns that are too powerful though, or your power supply won't support them easily.

I stuck this in the comments under the mod announcemnt but thought I would ask here as well. I have noticed a of bases don't offer missions on the first visit to the bar. I have been saving my game and reloading and checking again.Sometimes it's 2 or 3 tries before I can get one. Is this a mistake or is it on purpose?

Slyborg, it's neither a mistake, nor is it on purpose, its just yet unfinished. Base populations and markets will be updated for the next release version. It's just a large job and is quite boring so we usually don't get to it until we are ready for final release.

Thanks for that answer I am now flying a "Demon" and doing well.

2 questions however:
1. Is there a list of where the ships are sold?
2. where can I buy a shield for the Demon? It does not have 1 nor would any on the planet fit the demon.

Odd that there is not one close by.. tho from memory any light fighter shield would fit.. if the shield you want is not there then we'll look at it and fix it.. Not necessarily the one you want,, but one that will 'go on' as they say.. there is FL graviton level 6 shields reasonably close tho if you want something better.. *hint* try bretonian space..

Start simple...Make sure you have good equipment (especially a good power supply, you'll need it)...You can find lots of lawful targets around shipyards
