Sorry for not replying the past days but another net failure hit us here. now it's all back online and the 2.11 version is almost done. The Entreprise model will be incuded as reqeusteda altough I wanted a more recent model. Also I'll include the APS_Starviper that awesome recently posted ship, and 5 new very special weapons: the EMP gun, Liberty CARG cannon, Bretonia Quark Prototype, Rheinland Pulsar Cannon and a superb Corsair Salamanca Mk III with new weapon graphics, from Redeye, our Weapons an Models Master . And...maybe a multi-fire function, but there's still a problem there...this is from FL's code engine and I cannot do anything bout it. If the weapon(Salamanca Mk III) has all 4 firing barrels activated, there'll be no sound when it's firing. So tell me how do u prefer it: 1 shot, and sound or 4 shots at once and no sound but much more hitting power...?
Unfortunately no more TIES or Empire ships in this version G-shark, but Redeye promised that he's gonna do an Assault Gunboat and a TIE Phantom after he finshed the weapon models.
From the Babylon 5 new ship pack I'll add first the Battleships and Cruisers(buyable and in RM missions), then maybe those Shadow ships. They're not added yet since my net was only back online today so it's gonna take a while to download and import them. Hopefully not too long....

What does the EMP guns do? Render them useless for a short period of time?

EMP gun is a kind of pulse weapon so it affects the shields. If the shields are gone the gun drains cannon energy(this does not work for the NPC's, they got unlimited energy generators).
I know about those sites, tony darksaber gave me permision to use most of his models into Freelancer.

Take the time to add as much as possible....not that your mod is lacking or anything.

One request tho - one of the things that impressed me about TNG is the way money is handled in single player. The last 2.01 single player I played, I couldn't ever afford anything other than the starting ship. The ships are way too expensive for the payouts after the SP missions. I'd like to try out new ships as I'm going through the single player, not after I finish the single player part. After 15 times playing through the SP, I just want to get past it, so I don't want to do a lot of side jobs or trade runs. I had the starting fighter up until I got the Anubis. It was getting very old and I couldn't afford anything else. And then, I only got the Anubis because it was cheap, but I've flown it BEFORE. Your mod has so many cool ships, I just wish I could try them out more often, or upgrade my weapons without breaking my bank. I remember you making everything 3 times more expensive. Can you compensate with the payouts?

ps I also like how TNG justs lists the ships for sale name only, instead of their stats. It's a quicker way to see if that base has the ship your looking for.

Ways to get money in Rebalance Mod.

Do missions with Weapon Platforms in it. They drop Deep Scanners worth 12k each! Can be sold anywhere.

Treasure Looting for Cardamine, since you wont be using all the weapons from the ship wrecks, sell them for extra dough..

If you are starting a new game in SP? I suggest you go loot Cardamine from London, Leeds and NY and California. They are all close and only a JHole away, if you know the ones that were added in Rebalance.

Freighting/Trading is also another way to earn money. Or you can hijack other enemy ships holding precious cargo. Just hang out at the jumpholes near NY-Texas for Cardamine and Artifacts. And the NY JH in Texas for Artifacts. You can even wait at the Magellan-Cortez Jh for Engine Components to be sold at Magellan for 1.3k each.

Thurmo..i was about to say same thing as G-shark about the SP missions, but also there's another catch: mission 2 in SP will reward you 25k, so u'll be able to buy a Patriot in a few RM missions. also mission 3 reward s 100k if u do it right(protect the convoy well and don't let any of Walker's cruisers to die). Best missions are also at Willard station(10-12k each) and the deep scanners from the weapons platforms are 12k worth each(at least 36 k per strike mission).
If u want more money go to Freeport 4 in magellan(near California) and u'll get even better missions.
The fact that a base is showing ship stats instead of their names is due to a infocard configuration, and is not something i did on purpose. Anyway u'll have to LAND on a base before u can see that info so this is not very helping...

Ok...I guess that I got a little spoiled be TNG's payout of 1,000,000 credits after mission 2, or is it mission one. So, I guess I've been getting a little lazy lately. The info screen deal is that TNG just lists the ships names without any stats. It just makes for quicker perusal, thats all, no scrolling downwards to see what other ships are available, its all right there in front of you. See. more laziness so that I don't have to SCROLL DOWN. Man, do I live in the lap of luxury or what. The poor bastards in Iraq still don't have electricity, and i'm worried about having to SCROLL DOWN a little.

Here's a little sneak&peek of the upcoming version(btw it's gonna be 3.01 not 2.11):
-now missiles are mountable both on cruise disruptor slots and on normal gun slots
-the nomad torpedo is only mountable on torp/CD slot and consumes 800 energy for one shot. the price is set at 1000000.
-the EFA system is now more stable and the bases on Mars and Moon are not crashing anymore.
-once more corected the Kusari and the Dragon's Breath munition, now they had real explosion damage on a wider area.
-added the EMP gun and turret, a weapon specialized on taking out shields, but with better stats than ever the Corsairs Rapier.
-added the CARG Liberty special laser cannon, available at the research station in Calif. minor.
-Bretonia has a new special weapon the Quark cannon, it's a lvl 8 special gun available in different military bases troughout Bretonia. has area damage as well
-Rheinland has developed the powerful Pulsar Cannon, with a range of 1.5 k and over 1000 damage is an excellent weapon vs Bases and Battleships. also has area damage.
-the Corsairs have an ultimate Neutron Blaster, the Salamanca Mk III,a lvl 10 gun with new weapon graphics. check it out at their homebase...u know where it is. Corsair Titans now mount this weapon so watch out.
-added the APS Starviper, made by Astral Prime Studios, an excelent ship model in a VHF configuration with 6 guns and 3 turrets. Be sure to check out their website for other models to come at: http://www.sperling.retail.dial.pipex.c ... index.html
-added the Slipstream XJ-376 prototype, another great ship, made by Iceman, with 8/1/1 weapon systems. Available somehwere in Kusari...
-added Paul's collection of ships, form the light X-fighter to the Thunderbird and Raven VHF's and also Bretonia's Whale HF prototype. also added the FreightLiner 54000.
-added the Entreprise in second version, buyable at planet Earth, with no config changes except the mass.
-added the Sabre XR prototype, along with the Colossus VHF shield, and the class 10 Wyrm cannons and turrets. Outcasts Sabres have this new weapons mounted so beware...
-ships have been moved arround so i recommend u use FL DataStorm to get the locations for them.
-a certain Power upgrade MK V can be found in a remote location in the edge worlds, having a lot of power supply and regeneration rate. It costs about 1000k though.
some of the features were also in the Lite version, but here are more complete abd spicy. The version is almost done, and will be TLR'ed here as soon as possible.

I have always supported this one more than TNG ^_^ TNG has some nice things, but I just like Rebalance better. It really deserves the title "REBALANCE".

Thank you Dna, Gameshark, ED, Thurmo and the other supporters of my mod...you really maked it worth all the work I dedicated to it.
It is very possible that this is gonna be a FINAL version of the mod so stay tuned into it. TNG was nice indeed but let's not forget that was NOT only REynen's work as i had a part in its creation too...and still it went on second place, after my Rebalance. I still gotta test a few missions in the campaign before releasing it...a day or two maybe. Thank you all and thank the personel here at LR for all their support. See you alll later(maybe when Freelancer 2 appears?)..

A final version? No more updated? Hmmm, after all your previous versions since 0.9b, I guess I can live with that ^_^ I have been playing ever since 0.9b until now. I like to play mods when the original game goes stale.

I usually stick with a mode until the Final version is released and I always back it up. So I can install it later when I get bored or something. I started to play mods since Diablo2. And my friends always go .. "Cool! I never knew these games (Diablo2 and FL) could be played that way! Star Wars Ships?!? COOL!!"

FL2? Is there such a thing? I wonder .. is there a site about it?
