In Milkshape, there are some tabs on the upper left hand side.
In the "Model"tab, there are the buttons "select", "move", "rotate", and "scale."
Clicking on "rotate" will bring up the rotate options below the buttons. Just fill in 90 for X and 180 for Z to rotate it.
To scale it, you can either use the tools->scale at the top of the screen or the "Scale" button with .6-.8 for the XYZ scaling.
To flip the vertices, select all (ctrl-A) and press ctrl-shift-F

i've never tried this with Freespace 1 ships. however, I think there are some FS1->FS2 conversions out there. Just use those FS2 models of FS1 ships.

I see there are attempts to continue in this topic, so I will add mine: one of you told me about FS1->FS2 conversion, where it is available? That first convertor can't make a LOD from FS1 models.

Can you find a way to import ships of the "edge of chaos - Independence War2" from www.independencewar.com to freelancer? I think no one as tryed that is a lotbof good ships there. Ra
