Problem with The FlMM Mod Manager

HELP!!
I tried to activiate the TNG 2.76 mod into Freelancer but got an error message:
Error: FLMM has determined that 'FL: TNG 2.7.6 Full Version' won't properly activate.
Error: file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\freelancer\exe\EXE\freelancer.ini' doesn't exist

I do not know why it is trying to find an extra exe folder when the original exe folder is there. Any suggestions how I might do this manually?

a great cure for that is to install the sdk from the eoa it fixes the game files. most of the time with changeing up mods you always delete all saved games and a clean install of freelancer and then install the sdk. cross your fingers saying a little novena to a saint of your choice is also helpful. then activate the mod.
