How do i install mods?

i've never used a mod with fl so far, how do i install them( say e.g. the goanywhere or the galapagus mod) do i just unzip them to the fl directory, or what?

If you're using FLMM (a mod manager), it's pretty easy: if the downloaded mod file ends in .zip.flmod, just double-click it and activate it in FLMM. If it's a zip or self-extracting exe file, you just need to extract it into FLMM's \mods directory, making sure to follow the correct directory structure (ie "FLMM\mods\modname\data\constants.ini". For more information, you can read the FAQ or "Help\How Do I" documentation that comes with FLMM.

ok, thats what i did, but most didn't work
well, i better discuss that with the respecrive mods, thanx for the help!

Does the log show any error messages when activating those mods?

not direcktly, it just says this mod is empty, but flmm says that regardless which mod i chose, even with the ones that do work.
when i start fl, it chrashes back to desktop after the intros with no further error messages
