Hey any one got the cab2 file my disc got scratched and is non-repairable and I'm only missing 1 file otherwise i could burn a new disc.
Sorry friend, if the disk is scratched beyond repair, then you will have to buy a new disk. The Disks are incoded to prevent copying them. You must have an original disk to run the game. Giving you the file would not help. Check ebay and Amazon.com, they are very cheep these days.

No. That's like me saying, "Will they replace my whole computer for free if it ever breaks." Chances are.......well very odd.
You'll have to buy a new copy.
Look on Ebay, or Amazon. It should on;y cost you to 4$ to 12$ US.

Its called OEM versions... can be purchased with any type of "fundamental" computer equip (ie processor, mobo etc).
Feel for you with the scratched disk, but the reason why companies will not replace them for you is because... who's fault is it that it is scratched. Just like everything else in life, you are responsible for keeping your posessions in a way that prevents them from damage. If you sold someone something, and they damaged it themselves through negligence (or through any means that is not due to a flaw with your product), would you then fork out the cash to replace it?

absolutely - and since $#1% happens you need to make backups, to protect the *property* you purchased. seems some people don't feel you own the data on the disc, merely the otherwise useless plastic its encoded on
down with DRM and other IP fascism! ^__^
p.s. you can purchase a disc-scratch-remover at wallymart etc department stores for almost nothing
