cannot locate CD-rom after installing tng

Hey,

I want to play TNG, but everytime when i startup the game a message
appears stating that it cannot find the correct cd-rom.

the original cd-rom is in the drive and the game worked prefectly until I activated
TNG-mod!!

please help me

You do have Freelancer installed in the c:/programs/microsoftgames folder?

Also, TNG does not work with the Ubisoft (later) release, only the original MS release- you can also ask on TNG's forums at www.starfyrestudios.com.

as it turns out I do have the ubisoft release,

Is there no way to get it to work with that version?
