I got stuck in a system while using a mod and now I can't get out. I tried using the opengates mod 2 to open the gate to get me out but it didn't open it. So I decided that I'd try and find the jumpgate myself in the ini file and figure out how to open it. I've been unsuccessful. I can't even find the nick they gave for the jumpgate so I have to ask here. I'm stuck in the system where in SP you have to destroy 4 nomad shield generators to open the way to the nomad home world. The gate I need to unlock is supposed to go to the system with Planet Taledo. Could someone tell me what the nickname is and if possible what I change to grant me access to jump through it? Thanks.
Oddly enough..I ran across the exact same problem. Even when I used the OSP lite to open all the holes and gates...I still couldnt find the path that would get me to the nomad systems. Once I created a path (from alaska and back to Omicron Minor) I could enter the system from the Toledo Side, but only until I got to the Dyson Airlock.. "STUCK"...no dice. I ended up creating a "backdoor" jump hole from the unknown 1 system.
Even though I could get into the Dyson Sphere now..the gate to the system between the Dyson Sphere and Omicron minor was invisible and I was unable to dock with it.

Lasho: I tried deleting a line of code that looked like the locking of the gate but it didn't unlock it. It had St02_to_St01_hole in it and I know that St02 is the system I'm stuck in and St01 is Omicron Minor.
Rankor: I've also decided that the only way out is with a jumphole to another system. I've tried creating a jumphole to New York but I'm not sure if it just didn't work or I can't find the jumphole. I only edited the system ini files to do this. Here's the code I used to try and make the jumpholes.

If I did something wrong or didn't do enough would you or anyone else let me know?
Also I'm not sure if this is relevant or not but I'm using an Autosave to load my game at my current state.

Never mind. After careful consideration, I relized that St02 is actually the system where you get the nomad power supply. St03 was the system I was stuck in. I then created the proper jumpholes and decided to change my destination to Omicron Minor. After that I loaded the game and BEHOLD the jumphole was there. I used it and I was back in Omicron Minor, where the mod I was using has a nice jumphole to sigma 19. Thanks for replying and your help.
You can open jump gates + holes also by editing your savegame
a) With Ioncross FL Char Editor
b) manually (with Simple Save Editor) -
1) Open your savegame file
2) Scroll down to the bottom
3) Delete [LockedGates (or something like that. it's THE LAST entry) and everything under it.
Some details may be wrong - I haven't played FL for several months...

Speaking of the nomad power supply system...
now that I've thought about it a lot..I don't know why DA or MS just didn't figure out how to do that all inside the nomad layer anyway. It's really simple.
I've just created a nomad layer with the power supply area built inside it. I just didn't make any extra jump holes. You can simply fly through the layer through the center (without the spining obstruction that doesn't need to be there anyway)
straight though to the opening on the bottom.
That in effect eliminates an extra system and jump holes. Now...if I could just edit that in such a way to work with the Mission 13 story line.
