The simple answer I'm afraid is no. It is all encoded in THN's mostly, which only a few people have taken the time to learn. They aren't that difficult for those used to such styles of coding, but it is certainly more difficult than most INI coding that normally appears in Freelancer.

So the answer is yes...
If you really want to try it, check the tutorial forum. Maybe you'll find something. I know only 3 things:
- the files are in \DATA\SCRIPTS\INTRO
- you must decompile them with a .thn decompiler (I don't know any, sorry)
- you can edit the files with notepad after decompiling

A new feature introduced in FLScan is the ability to repair THN files that have been corrupted by the Fled-Thorn decompilation process. When the files are decompiled certain fields are incorrectly decoded and as a result the resulting scene is often completely unrecognisable.
