New Ship Mod idea!

Most of us love capships, and people think all of them have been put into a mod. But they are wrong. The sleeper ships never were. They would have a massive cargo, and amazing guns. And you would be able to choose from custom newly made level 10 turrets from and for whateverhouse sleeper ship you want to represent, or if you simply like the guns stats. Like Rhienland guns having long range low refire, liberty just right etc. And the guns would be quite powerful, and it would be easy to kill a level 10 fighter in a few shots.

Battleships,are made for battle, so therefore should be used to such thing as level 10 fighters. And, should be more powerful, and have better defence. For instance, if fighter has 600 attack times 8.33 refire 750 speed and range, then a battleship, should have 1200 range and speed 3OOO damage, and a refire of 4 for guns. Battleships should be able to only go 45 klm, except for having thrusters and cruise engines. And expensive. Base weapons should have 4000 attack 2000 range and speed and 4.00 refire.

I don't wanna spoil your fun (to the contrary, create all the huge battleships you think of) but the Sleeper Ships aren't necessary so much more advanced than the average ship you see around in Sirius.

In fact, they brought Mankind to the Sirius sector, and that was 8 centuries ago. Of course technology could be lost and forgotten, but it's not very likely Mankind hasn't made any technological progress since they've arrived on Sirius. We know they use gene-banked fauna and flora, so they'll probably also have had access to the level of weapon technology the Ancestors possessed.

But, like I said, don't let this keep you from creating vast Sleeper ships. You can always make up some background story to explain whatever needs to be explained.

Well actually, I don't want the battleships any bigger except for the Liberty ships, which a cruiser is almost better and is in some cases than a battleship. Other than that they're weapons should simply be much more powerful. The sleeper ships don't have to be too massive, but atleast as big as a Rheinland Battleship.

I am actually not knowledgeable about mod's yet. So I was suggesting it for anyone who wants to take the idea, and put it into form.

However, once my other computer is fixed, I will begin trying to learn how to make a mod, and then created a version of Freelancer with a storyline, however have base, battleship, and other obviously unaccurately weak guns adjusted for more damage and range.
