Undock problemo

Undock problemo

I keep getting undock problems when i test my mod, i keep track of what i do with my mod. But this one has got me.
Can someone tell me causes of undock problems, and i will check if they are wrong.

"undock problems" - oh yes, that's a very well known and documented issue.

I think it's called lack of information .

Kind of like me asking for your assistance because I've got a problem in my system.

Can you solve it from that description?

Chips is right, that is very unuseful in trying to assist you with fixing your problem. What I can tell you though is that around 95% of undocking problems is a problem with the system itself (patrol paths that don't have encounters defined, missing solar models from the solararch.ini that are mention in the system file (or mispelt names in the system file) etc....).

0x9963c741 = nomad_gate
0xb4e69f43 = br_small_station_turret01_mark03
The nomad_gate doesn't have any weapon hardpoints so all you get are CTD's by trying to add them.

Those smilies won't be in the way when I've finished building this forum heh, you'll be able to just drop code in, without needing to cut off any 's on the ends

You also won't get errors when you put too much text in a post, and it can be formatted in the advanced editor you get, and when I say formatted, I'm talking fricken microsoft word in a box, thats if this plugin I'm going to install works that is... heh

Strictly speaking trying to put something onto non existant mounts won't cause a CTD - it never did for me anyways. Generally speaking, I always used to think that the thing that does cause the crash doesn't appear in the spew, and i've yet to be proven wrong.

However, that engine indicates that you have an engine mounted on the static battleship in the new york system, which is not required because it's actually a station instead. Simply remove the engine line from the loadout for the station (you may need to create either a custom loadout if it's using the loadouts_special.ini file in the ships folder, or if it is in the solars folders loadouts.ini - just remove the engine. Do the same for the rheinland, bretonian, kusari battleship stations too, and don't forget that they appear in many systems (liberty battleships in li01, li02, li03 and li04 - i think br02, br05 (having two), ku02, ku03 and rh02 are them all - but don't hold me to this as i am simply going off my memory!)

the loadout is not the reason for the crash
