"Find a Job" is self-explanatory...
About the "warm welcome"... I guess that it's nothing personal... It's just the fact that Freelancer is out for quite some time, so the questions tend to repeat over and over again.
Next time use the "search forums" option and enter a keyword from your question... You may get surprised at how many times it was chewed up.

Oh, and if you want to have a thread of your own, start it with a good topic.
Good = previously uncovered by others, or a different aspect on some subject.
If you can't find a good topic -- go to the Off Topic Forum, and post something completely banana...

RPG??? Are we talking about same game here? How in the hell is Freelancer a RPG? It's a relatively light space sim, maybe with some adventure thrown, a bastard simplified child of Wing Commander and Privateer. There is no RPG, since there is no character development, you can't really call ship configurations character development.

Damn, lay off the guys back, it was a simple question, no need to be huffy. Although, yeah, he should have looked on the main page.
