No. The Alliance torp bombers are: Galahad and Hades (Hades is a newer, better bomber). The Coalition has Kamovs and Scimitars (Scimitars have more armor but less torps, and is being phased out by the high command due to their age). You only get to see one Scimitar in the entire game. I think that's the one you saw.

no no no !! i saw a galahad !! i know one when i see one !! it looked exactly like the Galahad in ITAC!! and i even targetted it, its a Galahad !! but i didn't get to see a scimitar... i want to see one... mb ther's a bug in my copy...

if i'm not mistaken, its the one where u r on a routine patrol thingy, and u jump out, and i think 9 basilisks ambush u, followed by sabres and more basilisks. after u r done, the reliant 'hails' u, telling u to go rondevue (sp) at the victorioius. then, at the victorious, some more fighters come in, followed by 2 torp bombers, the Kamov and strangely, the Galahad. but now i'm having doubts. . . mb it was a scimitar.. but i'm pretty sure its a galahad, it even looked like one. i first thought it was a scarab troop carrier.

one note to FF i have done thourough studies of torp bomber stats in game and out (it was for my "failed" RPG) i have concluded that.
A) there are 3 sets of alliance torp bombers in the game gamma galahad and hades.
there are 2 types of coalition torp bombers in the game scimitars and kamovs.
C) coalition torps are slower but heavier hitting than their alliance counterparts.
D) alliance torps are faster and lighter hitting than coalition.
E) hades and Gamma are the same.
F) galahads have only two torps, because their torpedoes are stronger than that of gammas and hades.
G) Scimitars are a lighter faster (less armor and shields) version of the kamov but same torp load.
H) all alliance torp bombers have more sophisticated targeting systems and are relatively faster than coalition.

"Gamma" is not a ship at all. It's the nickname for all torpedo bomber wings. So it does not matter if it's a Hades or Galahad, they're still part of Gamma Wing.
