Server Problems

Server Problems

I have the Rebalnce Mod 3.50 with Bug Fix. The mod works great SP and even when there was a stable server it worked great. Besides some connection problems with that server. So we decided to make our own server. We have tried hosted it on two differnt PCs but for some reason it crashes. It only rashes every once in a while when it just me and my friend but when another guy joins (even if no one else is on the server) it crashes pretty fast. So I downloaded IONCROSS because some one told me it helps preventing crashes and also that it will restart the server when it crashes. But I start the program and I can change settings but when it ativates the server all IONCROSS says is "checking server satus..." Its not helping I mean it will start the server but the program doesn't help at all. Am I not doing something right with ION CROSS? PLEASE HELP!!!

Not familiar with this mod but what you're describing seems an incompatability issue with the server version of the mod and Ioncross. Check what the version number is of the flserver.exe of the MOD and then open up the main IONCROSS folder and search for the FLServerOperator.ini

Look for this line,

FLServer - Version 1.0 Build 11 - FLServer

Change the 1.0 to the version of the mods exe file. Save and restart Ioncross. Hope you have the server files for the mod because Ioncross is not much use without them. Hope this helps.

Wootz! Thanks for all the help. Btw you can also start the program and go to configuration and change it under FLServer Window name. Thanks bunches now maybe this will help out the server alot.
