Crossfire/FLMM SHCopy Failed

So I had Crossfire Open Sp working fine and decided to deactivate it and reactivate it to try the Story mode. I got an error like this:

Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\characters\heads\pi_pirate5_head.dfm.flmmbak' to 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\characters\heads\_pi_pirate5_head.dfm')

I updated to FLMM latest beta, CF 1.62, and did a clean uninstall of Freelancer and keep getting the same or similar error messages. What gives please?

If you want to play CF then stick to FLMM 1.31, CF is incompatable with FLMM 1.4, the mods xml script file needs redone.

Then they better should do a redone - many people TRY to use the latest versions of any software...

The latest isn't always the best, it's just newer.

the xml script is just fine
flmm 1.4 cant handle xml correctly

it is absolute nonsence to say that the code is the problem if it does work in a previous version of a tool while it does not work in a "BETA" version that was released after that
that the code is working 100% is proven by flmm1.31

additionally to this i experiences many other problems with flmm1.4
