Can you believe I was introduced to Freelancer just days ago? It's true! I went to a LAN party with some new friends, and FL was on the "to-do" list.

Just wanted to give my appreciation to the people who run this site; it appears to be about the only current fan site operating -- at least of portal-type sites, and mod makers & server admins really need a central location they can publish news to. I sure was excited to learn that there is still a fan base for this game.

...of course, I hardly need mods yet: the game is so new to me that the original features still seem fresh! =)
