Collect loot from freighters ?

Hello

Just one question, and sorry about my english.
It is possible to collect (via tractor beam) things from
freighters destroyed by me ? I tried fiew times, but there
was nothing to collect, but one the cargo scan I saw for
example 1999 parts of Engine Components, where is it
when I destroy this freighter ?

sometimes you destroy everything by accident, by continuing to shoot. try finishing off the cargo transport with a missle.

The loot is comparable to your level as well. A starting player will get almost nothing, while a lvl 40 ship would release everything.

Hit the transports with on laser blast, tractor the loot in, then destroy the ships, you get more that way.

Great Game, I'm old Privateer fan, 35 years old,
Independence War 2 "The Edge of Chaos" is nice too,
without many good options, but with great flight model,
sadly - no many game like this...............
Parkan II mayby (new one, in development) but I don't
think so..............

a llittle hint, sometimes when you attack a tansport ALL the loot is destroyed in the explosion, but if you want (and if your a good aim) you can just shoot the cargo boxes below the transport. This way you are SURE to get loot

Ya; those boxs can save alot of time. I like to get allied with some high lev faction; then find one freighter that's expensive...

Look for "Hard War" on eBay. Came out about 5 years ago and is sort of like Privateer on a planet. It happens on Titan, one of the moons of Jupiter, and you can be a trader, bounty hunter or scavenger. Gives you missions to fly and there's a mystery to solve too.

Similar to Freelancer on a smaller scale.
