Problem with ship texture

Ok, got a problem. I've imported the centurion into Ms3d, fixed the screwed up wings and made a few changes to the archetype (mostly the back fin and copying and engine into the rear of the ship. Archetype wise, its all ok, the problem is that the textures aren't showing as they should be ingame.
I've extracted the k_panel01-03 type textures and have adjusted them in painshop pro so that they are almost totally black. Flipped them over and used them for the ship.
In Ms3d it looks all good, in Hardcmp it looks all good, but in game they look like slightly darker versions of the corsairs existing ships. I can't see what part of the mat file to play with with utf.
Any help that you can give would be appreciated.

Actually, don't worry, got it all sorted now.
