ey all. here are some pics of the first ship i have ever made. It is a pretty accurate model of an SR-71 Blackbird (if you haven't heard of it google it). haven't textured it yet
(still learning how to do that lol), but i have completed the mesh, and have plenty of concept sketches, so i know where i'm going with this model. i'm also currently learning to do hardpoints, CMP files, etc ... so watch for future posts. enjoy!

even though it doesn't look like it sometimes, all the triangles are facing outwards. also, no matter what i try i can't get the engine nacelles to be all grey. for some reason they like being that striped pattern.

some general info:
Made using Milkshape v1.7.0
poly count: 1670
triangles: 1036
any comments/ideas would be much appreciated, as i'm a complete newbie to making FL ships. please don't be afraid to point out any point out any flaws as harshly as you please, the more you tell me about the model, the more i can learn. many thanks!
P.S. appoligies if the images are included in this post. that was not my intention. I couldn't figure out how to do them as thumbnails. sorry once again.
