It looks very good, specially from the above and below views. The large panal located at the front of the ship that you have textured brown seems to be lacking in detail, it looks a bit stretched and plain.

but apart from that, its very good!

your welcome to try texturing my other model "The Kennedy" its the freighter I made for Liberty, i would like to see it with the textures from Liberties original freighter.

Freedom, what's keeping you from making a little minimod featuring these freighters? I'm sure there would be lots of players interested in them. Also, since they would be small, simple mods, they could easily be added to others (if the person doing it ok'ed it with you first ). If you are having trouble with the code, you can send the models and I'll code them up for you and send them back. I'd hate to see some modelling talent go to waste.

Hey Freedom!

I'm going to use this in the next version of my mod "Monkey Universe 1.85". I just have to create the hardpoints and then the coding and will put it in the mod (of course with credits to you).

Great work!!!

thanks for your input parabolix

Coding isnt really an interest of mine, I dont find it interesting enough to provide any real contribution in that type of area, and thats the plain truth. Modelling and texture design is about the only areas that I would have any motivation in being involved in.

The Titanic and Kennedy models are totally available for anyone to take and code into the game, so if anyone gets to that stage of development, I would love to see some screenshots.

The Kennedy model is further down the list in this section of the forum, it has not attracted the same attention as the Titanic, but you will find the download link in its post.

cheers

Well the thing is, without some coding work, your modeling won't be able to be seen in game. Like I said, if you need me to, I can code this ship up for you if you want to make a mini-mod out of it.

Hi!

Yep, parabolix is right. That's exactly the problem, why this ship is not yet in the current version of Monkey Universe (released in the next days). I just did not have the time to add all the hardpoints. I would do it for the next version of the mod, but this can take some time and if you could do this parabolix, everyone would have this ship in a mini-mod and I would also be very thankful
