Missing textures
My problem is the following:
I have (using the latest CMP Exporter) exported a ship consisting out of 7 groups (the hull, four wings, the cockpit glass and a group of spoilers). Now, in Milkshape, there are more groups, alone the hull is consisting of five groups in Milkshape.
The ships works fine, even the destroyable components work (with a few little glithces, however). But when I look though the cockpit, I can see all the way through the ship, because the inside of the cockpit is not textured. Now, in Milkshape it works just fine and the group called le3_innercockpit is textured by a texture called le3_cockpit. However, in Freelancer the texture is not there.
My first thought was that maybe the exporter can't handle two different textures for one exported group. But my weapon slots (using other textures as well) are displayed quite nicely, so this can't be it. So I suspected the MAT to be wrong. I looked into the file and exported the texture for le3_cockpit, which turned out to be there and precisely as I wanted it to be.
So, is there any other possible source I might have forgotten?
