weird texture problem...

I am currently importing some of my models into FL, and unlike before this time I used nifty MAT exported and dds format for the texture. BUT I ran into a problem and I got to clue how to solve it, or whats causing it

check this image for more info. To the left is screen from HardCMP, while the right pic is an ingame shot of the same model. Looks pritty colorfull, and reminds me of TV static (static part is partly transparent), anybody know what could be causing this?

I used CMP exporter v0.3 and MAT exporter v0.1.
The DDS map is 2000x2000.
MAT file is saved inside CMP
UV map originaly 4000x4000 (dont ask, was thought by others to use that size). Resized to 2000 due to model being white with 4k (even though I got excelent vid card)

Another interesting thing is that when I check a preview of the DDS map (when saving from photoshop) the UV map looks normal. It looks normal everywere except in the game...

If I use TGA texture in place of DDS than the model is white...

anyone know what could be the issue??

Got to admit that i'm not a real expert on this, but if you are using textures you need to make sure they are:
64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048, 4096x4096

I really wouldn't go that high though. If you are usind DDS, you shoud be able to get away with a texture map of 1024x1024.
I think there was some rule about the TGA being uncompressed too. Might be worth taking a look at?

actually FL does have a switch in one of the config files to allow rectangular or irregular textures but some cards can't handle them so its best to leave it off
