LightWave question (poly flipping)

I have finally decided to export all my old models from DOGA into lightwave. The problem is that all the polygons that were duplicated in DOGA are inverted when imported in LW. In order to fix this I have to select each inverted polygon and flip them. This task is extremely time consuming so I am just wondering if there is a plug in, or a command that allows you to flip polygons according to X,Y,Z grid, and or by comparing each side of the model and align the polygons. I used Align Polygon function, but that does more harm than good since well it flips even the normal polygons. Make Poly Double-Sided is the best (fixes the prob in a sec) but it doubles the poly count...so only other option I know of is to manually select each polygon and flip it, anyone know of a easier way??

Well... what formats does DOGA export?

DOGA got multiple exports, but the one I used to export is DXF

DXF is the worst of all possible formats It's not designed for trimesh modelers, and does an absolutely terrible job- low-poly things tend to become higher-poly when converted, because DXF is an engineering format, and precision is more important than polycount. Iow... don't use it unless you don't have any other choices

Use 3DS or OBJ if they're available, LWO if they aren't. I haven't looked at DOGA for quite awhile, but I'd be really surprised if it didn't export in one of these formats.

well yes it can export to those..ermm..but I cant do that. I lost all my DOGA models after reformat, and was lucky enough to have most of them in DXF format. So unluckily I am stuck with DXF

Yeah, I know this is an old topic, but to solve your problem:

In 7.0+: Details tab, Align.
In 6.0+: Polygon, Align.

It's that simple.
