Exporting Animated models to FL?

Does anyone know if it's possible to export animated models to Freelancer?

Are there any CMP exporters for any other program than Milkshape? (ie MAX, or GMAX?)

freelancer doesnt support animation.....so far as we know...

i do not know of any others besides the milkshape one, but the best way is to create your ship in the program you like...and texture and export in milkshape

I have to believe it does support animatin somehow because there is a station which has a large hoop with steam emitters on it which spins continuously?

I thought I saw on either the mat exporter or the cmp exporter readme for ms3d that the next version of the program will hopefully have animation support.

hi ...
an other problem, if you work with Gmax or 3D Studio Max, you export your model with animation on 3DS format, into Milkshape, the animation is deleted .... it couldn't support after my tests importation of animations ...
and no others programs have CMP exporter function ... or nobody have write one pluggins for Gmax or 3D Studio Max ...

best regards
