Modelling utillitys

Here are some tons of 3ds Max, Photoshop, Maya and Paintshop pro tutorials.

www.fantasticarts.com (needs Emule to work. Also has on the site Lightwave Discovery Edition for Download.) note to mods even though it requires Emule its not a warez or illegal site.
www.texturemaker.com (A very good texture maker.)
www.3dtotal.com (An excellent modelling site.)
www.polycount.com (not exactly FL related but the best game modelling site and skinning site on earth.)

here is another good utility, it si called Deep Exploration, it can open & export several model formats, including but not limited to:

Lightwave
Maya
3D Studio (.3ds, .asc, .prj)
Autocad (.dxf, .dxb, .dwg)
Truespace
Cinema 4d
Rhino

plus several other formats including a few game formated files like quake, ect ...

Oh yes Deep Exploration is very good for viewing your models without starting up any long loading 3d editors
