More bugs found....Ti'lk ship didn't give up weapons when went to derelict in Pollux system.

Is Troy Wormhole in Pollux supposed to be one way? I found I had to use a different wormhole in order to leave the sector.

Luxery Liner Hawaii in New Caledonia : Took several attempts to try and get to the Crab-12 gate...may have something to do with proximity of planet, When i went to cruise after targeting gate it would CTD... was able to get cruise once I was half way to the gate and not near planet.

Planet Curile: Took several attempts to leave the planet...would CTD during the cutscene sequence leaving the planet. These are all occurring with the Tarsus

Wait, wait! Theres more!

Game crashes when entering Southampton Shipyard "automatic landing zone" (I.E., when starting to dock).

Also crashes when entering the Southampton Debris Field, probebly because its trying to load a different music file. Or somthing.

WARZOG . . . I can understand your sentiment. All your precious HARDWORK & EFFORT. Tell you what I am going to try & do; henceforth & forthwith, NOT COMPLAIN. If something does not work I shall let it pass. If I must not use your fine piece of work for awhile then so be it. I will put the onus on my wonky old PoC computer. When a new version comes out I will try and see what occurs. :+}

Once thing I did notice that made me quite happy was that AlPalsEveryoneLovesYou MOD still worked with Privateer. I know this MOD may be anathyma to many but I like the flexibility it adds to play. It is unfortunate so many others do not work with this MOD.

Keep up the fine work. And MORE IMPORTANTLY you get to feeling better.

It is hard to soar with eagles when you fly with turkeys.

Com'on Warzog, you knew a grand project like this was going to have some bugs to work out. Just because it turned out worse then you thought is no reason to give up.

Warzog,

Thanks so much for your work. I get some CTDs, but I was able to go to over 90% of all system dock stations/jumpholes, fight pirates, Kilrathi, and Stelteks, work for the Federation, make some money, and upgrade to the top ship.

As I was flying through space in my tachyon-cannon loaded Centurian, listening to that old familiar music, I kept being transported back to my early days in the WC Universe, and found myself back in that warm, fuzzy Privateer universe. I felt young, again! What a rush to go back to that place somewhere between the Kilrathi Empire and the Unknown.

I know this is what you want this mod to recapture, and even with the present bugs it accomplishes this for us old-timers who keep waiting for that never to be released "Privateer 3".

Thanks for the mod, and the re-awakened pleasant memories.

Thanx for the kind words.

I'm in the middle of a new approach to Gemini, that I'm hoping will work.
It's gonna be a complete rewrite of the mod.
I've spent to much time trying to get Gemini and the FL Missions to work together...
and it just aint gonna happen!
Hopefully, this new approach will work.
We'll see...

Warzog, please don't give up. I'm only trying to beta test this for you and give you as much information as possible, I know its not a finished product. I think you have done a great job on what to me looks like a herculean project.

If I had the expertise to help you go through these bugs and sort it out I would gladly do that. Unfortunately programming was not my forte, I m better at troubleshooting hardware problems.

There is a lot of adjusting to do with the Mod, as well as some things that need to be fixed. But isn't that what a Beta release is for? Out of all the Mods made for FL (and I've tried most of them) there is only one that comes close to your PTR. Most Mods that add new systems are left lacking because none of the bases work correctly. In some of the other *MAJOR* Mods the writers think they have a great work when combat takes you hours to complete (if you survive!) because the bad guys have shields and weapons that are better than you have, not to mention that you end up fighting 10 or 12 bad guys at once.

Keep up the good work.

Oh. By the way, that other Mod? Terra Empire Phase 1. While not quite as advanced as your PTR TE works quite well.

While not quite as advanced as your PTR TE works quite well.
My "The Equalizer Mk I-Mk V" mods all work quite well, too!

As you noted...
Part of my problem...
AND the reason for so many flippin' bugs...
Is that I'm trying to do something I haven't seen done before.
So...
each little push...
each little shove...
tells me where the limits are...
what I can get away with...
and what I need to find a way around.
Gemini, however, is more like one Gigantic CRAM!!!
I've learned alot about FL while working on it.
If my assumptions are correct, my next version should be alot better.

In theory, yes!
However...
FL is so tied to the Sirius Sector...
(as are the missions)
That it may be impossible to do.

I won't know for sure until I get Gemini stable.
Once it is...
Then I'll try putting the missions back in, and we'll see what happens.
