Multi-data archive rubbish

Hi i've posted this in teh technical issues forum as well but...

I seem to have a problem when installing the Freeworlds 1.66 mod, i try to install it and it comes up with and error message about i hasn't worked because it am not opening the last file of the multi data archive, and that's absolute rubbish cos it's only the FLMM file not in a folder or anything !!!

Thanks

Please see my comments in your other thread which should help you out.

Plus, a couple of other tips:

1) This issue with larger mod downloads has been covered several times before. It is worth doing a search before posting a question to see if has been covered before.

2) Try not to post the same question or issue in more than one forum, the mods get a little upset by that.

I will repeat what was said on the other thread.

The problem with larger mods is that they will sometimes not complete downloading properly, especially from Lancers Reactor that has an issue with server resetting with new posts being made, thus cutting the download off. This problem you are reporting is a result of that. The best way to download larger mods from Lancers is to use a Download manager. There are plenty of free ones and I have heard that Windows XP has one built in if you know where to look. These will resume a broken download like this and get the download complete.
