Work has begun on the Harpy. Here are specifications:

Class: Light Fighter
Armor: 3600
Guns: 4
Missiles: 2
Turrets: 0
Mines: 1
Optimal Class: 5
Max Class: 7
Nanobots: 30

Yet again, very fast.

Here is the first picture of the Harpy Light Fighter. I have to remap the textures around the cockpit but this should give you a basic idea of what the ship will look like when completed.

Hi all,

Time for a mod update:

The New ships have been added and all work...
I have added the Starblazer (as a light fighter) and it works just fine:
Stats: Level 6 - 4 guns, mine, cm, heavy power supply - inexpensive.
No level requirement - performance based on the Dagger - interesting ship to fly.

Here's where it gets interesting (or boring) ... lol

I am having a lot of trouble bringing large ships into the mod.. even tho everything seems to be in order they will not co-operate.......
For example: the ships are listed but you cant buy them .. either there is no shipdealer or when you select a ship it's hello desktop ....

The New Systems are in but need some work......

Sorry the mod has been delayed but we want to act on the feedback to us by the beta testers.....and they have highlighted several errors..
If I can't fix it in the next couple of days then I may remove them and simply release an updated ships and weapons mod ...

Once the problems are fixed - add them to the next version ...

Any suggestions?

that harpy looks awsome!

and the reason i havent posted the ms3d shots is cos im still working on them.
they should be done soon.

and can anyone help me on texturing in ms3d?

all i need is what size texture, and how to add decals (like the liberty star) to ships.

so is the texture just a square as ive read in tutorials? if so, how are the little details added?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

512 x 512 .tga files are the best files to use for textures...to add decals you need to include them in the texture and make sure they are the correct size to be mapped onto the correct size surface...Harrier would be much better to ask on this topic, if you look on the side of the Nemesis there is a Nova Design logo
