Nope, you got the right one,

The reason that it's locked for now is that it's under heavy testing and we just want to make sure that people understand that, so people have to go to Zod's site and get the password, also I think Zod will send it to you if you ask him. I'd give it to you but I have no need of it, so I don't have it.

I just sent Zod a new version of Rebalance last night, so maybe you'll want to download that once it's available. I apologize for the repeated need to download the entire mod, but I don't want to patch it to death, like what ended up happening with Rebalance 3.3 and 3.4...

If I had the means right now, I'd drop you a copy of the latest version myself, but since I'm not at the library (internet trouble at home) that allows me to upload files and such, I can't do it today.

We'll get you squared away though, try contacting Zod for the password

BTW, for those wondering what happened to FLspace... I'm wondering the same thing myself... and I am NOT happy with it...

I'll let you all know what's up as soon as I can find out.

Whenever you're playing a mod, you must have the same version as the server or you won't be able to connect,, or you might even crash the server.

I went on Zodsworld, and downloaded Rebalance351Delta2.zip, for 5 hours (56k connection), and started playing.
Guys... if i can rate this mod from 1 to 10 I would give 20. Its fantastic...I am speachless...
I was X2 fan, but what u did with this mode and freelancer alltogether, all I can say goodbeye X2.Much better than Microsoft team... Maybe thy should hire u guys for doing sequel.

Lol,

One problem, among many, with Microsoft is that they're not known to be infinitely patient with coders. They want the software out yesterday, and this stuff takes time. So, for me, I think I'll give MS a wide berth

i just wanted to let you guys know i wont be home for a week so i wont be posting. also iam really looking forword to playing the mod, keep up the good work and good luck. iam really looking forword to flying my raven claw. only thing i havnt noticed that could be tuned is the sobek on the order battle ship. manovering is to high i think, no offince though just trying to help.

Ro9ue intended the Sobek to be a pretty kick butt ship, and I think it is, but if enough people think that it's a bit too maneuverable, I'll go in and tone it down a bit, or you can ask your server admin to do so, but remember if that's done, and you try a new server, the ship won't handle the same... Just a warning

i dont go into servers lol, i play the story line, and after that i explor and find stuff. if i knew how i would ask to edit it though, but thanks.

- oh, iam back home from ny, gsss i hate that place. cant get around anyplace with a truck and trailer.

If you're trying to use the OpenSP with the latest version of Rebalance (Rebalance 3.5.1 Delta 2). I'm sorry to say that I've made it impossible, due to some issues with Rebalance itself. I may, at a later date incorporate an OpenSP patch directly into Rebalance, but that depends on if I can get all of the other issues dealt with first. My apologies for this inconvenience. If you MUST have the latest Rebalance and OpenSP, then do the following:

1: Make sure that no mods are activated in FLMM. Open the sript.xml file found in the Rebalance mod folder in FLMM's folder (C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\Mods\NameOfRebalanceModFolderHere). I forgot the folder name that I gave it, so whichever folder refers to Rebalance.

2: look for something that mentions exclusive, set that to no (exclusive="no", or just delete that part of the line (it defaults to no if there's no reference to it).

3: Save the file.

4: Activate Rebalance 3.5.1 Delta 2, then activate the OpenSP mod, say yes to any dialogs that popup... I haven't tried this, so I don't know if it will work.

5: If all that works, try running FL and starting a NEW GAME... (opensp won't work with pre-existing save files).

6: If you've made it this far, then you're ready to roll. Good luck.

I'm afraid that due to stability issues of the mod itself, I don't support the mod with other mods active, so use it with others at your own risk.

If you want to, you can look for the Rebalance 3.5 beta 3 and grab a copy of that til I can get the latest one ready to roll. I am not planning on quoting a release date due to the extensive alterations that need to be made.

Bug Report:

There is a bug that I noticed in the MP version 3.30 firebalance MOD that involves ships perpetuating without thrust to exponential speeds. If you turn off your engines and tap the "thrust" button your ship just keeps gaining speed. Noticed right after purchase of "FedEx" Freighter.

Also, I am unsure if the gunboats or ships that could almost be considered capital class were menat to be implemented into the MP version at all. I run this MOD on my LAN and get a "cheat error" every time and it boots me or my comrades. If this was just meant to be a Single player, then no big deal. If it was meant to be a MP implemented MOD, please let me know if I can configure my server to accept the changes.

I'm running a lan server here at college and I like to hang out around earth and blow the crap out off all the npc's who show up there, but the server keeps crashing, especially when a lot of ships spawn.

Is there a fix for this?

i think thats how the ships are supose to be, mimic warp drive. im not saying anything for sure, but i do think it supose to mimic the warp drive on star trek or something. no offince anyone and sorry if i said this in error.
