Help requested regarding UTF editor

Hi peeps,

I am currently working on a new patch of commodities...

I made the first 2 without problems (Donuts / Oranges) using the UTF editor to make new icons for these commodities...

Now when I tried to make a third one (treasure) I suddenly got into problems...

Whenever I try to edit VMeshID in the VmeshRef or the material ID in the VMeshData it doesnt update the apropriate integers...

I klick the update key and when I check it the numbers havent changed ?!?

why are you doing it the insanely hard way? everyone knows the icon tutorial is unforgiveably out of date -

my process:
icon cut out from picture, possibly milkshape or some other 3d program supplies the print

icon placed on icon background (i've replaced the original icons, soo i don't have any icons with slightly-weird background, and i used something with more color - fun for the eyes

)

.tga exported in dinky 64X64

fl model cloner - renames icon mesh, material

utfedit material import, and material-name correction

OK,

I just started doing it so my apologies for my ignorence ;-)

Now another question, where do I find the FL model cloner ???

I tried the current search engine but it didnt come up with anything...

Creating the TGA files for the icon picture is no problem since I am already sitting on a pile of them...

The coding of the commodities is no problem either...

It's just making the new original 3db icon files that first worked and then suddenly didnt anymore ;-)
