When I run a LAN-only server, I have no problems connecting to it even though the client is on the same machine. Other people who connect to my lan locally also have no trouble.

When I run an Internet-available server, other people have no problem connecting and playing. However, as soon as I try to connect the server crashes.

Is this a common problem for anyone else? Is there a fix?
