Problems leveling up? Sollutions here!!!
For all you desperate Freelancers who encounter the level-up-need-mission-bug the folowing is most likely the problem.
A while ago our most favourite software multinational Microsoft (
) has released the Patch V1.1 wich focuses on server stability and cheating.
This is a patch only for those who run a server. You don't need to install this if you don't run a server.
So if you installed the patch, simply reïnstall the game. You don't need to uninstall first. That should take care of it.
If after that your level still isn't going up, try one of the following:
1 Buy a hold full of expensive cargo and then sell it again at the same place. This makes your worth drop, thus "resetting" the leveling up system. Works most of the time.
2. Do a mission, that seems to work sometimes.
And for those who have questions about the leveling up system generally:
During the campaign your next level is determined by your total worth, meaning, If F8 says Next level requirement: $50,000 that means your total worth needs to be $50,000.
After the campaign (when you are dropped at Manhattan), when it says [nNext level requirement: $50,000 it means you need $50,000 more to level up.
The sudden chance in the leveling-up system is currently unexplained, but that's just the way it is.
